Am I really part of the human race?

Yesterday morning I went to the gym. I have to get up at 4:20 a.m. in order to get to the gym, do my entire routine, get back, and be ready in time to leave the house at 7 a.m. And yesterday I couldn't bring myself to hop on the elliptical or the treadmill and so I got onto a recumbent bike, from which position its really easy to watch VHS or MTV. So that's what I was doing. And I saw the music video that goes along with Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" song. It's odd, but that's what she does so I was expecting something along those lines. And at the beginning of the song she and her dancers look like aliens. Part two of my lengthy explanation of my title "Am I really part of the human race?": The writer of this professionally done blog I read recently commented that her 10-month old son started to sleep through the night. Before that point she had considered giving up because the waking up every night with no recourse was slowly eroding away her human

Homework and pvp.

Homework: Stayed up until 2am finishing my physics homework last night. My brain feels like mush. Normally go to bed around 10pm. It was good though as now Wulfa has all day to study for her test tomorrow. Pvp: Thought about trying pvp prot again, ended up not playing the paladin. Tried playing my warrior in battlegrounds. Love it when I crit. Cry when I get kited. Would love some warrior pvp help. I'm arms currently and feel like my talent allocation is working nicely. I've got 20 resiliance(more coming when I get 10 more stonekeeper shards). I'm rocking a sword. My biggest request for help is in the which abilities to use/notuse etc. About 50-60% of my damage is white damage. Followed by overpower and rend. I usually only get out of arms stance if I'm about to fight a warlock and need the anti-fear ability; if I'm in battle and need to intercept; or if it looks like whirlwind is off cooldown. So I guess the complete list of my "use&qu

Waiting sucks.

So the past two weeks I have written in advance and queued up my posts. This way I have almost written every day something of more worth than "here this is a post read my words". I have also managed to write more stories than I have ever before in my entire life. But you know what is the hardest thing for me in this? I have to sit. And wait. And wait. For people to read my AWESOME POST OF AWESOMENESS THAT WILL REDEFINE EVERYTHING FOR THE BETTER. For instance. My stories. I had to wait like four days for anyone to read them. This is worse than no comments... its like a week worth of waiting wondering... is there going to be comments? Is it any good? Will I like the way it looks when it hits the blog? I don't know how other people stand it. What I do know... is that it is better to write a good post a day then write seven good posts in one day. Why? Because people don't usually have time to read seven good posts in one day. They usually only have time to rea

PvP

Nothing special. So my ret pally and my resto druid are fun in pvp. Prot pally is not. Feral druid and balance druid are not. Khour and Moon have two level 30ish toons they are playing and ONLY leveling in battlegrounds. I'm thinking I'm going to level my mage Susanin this way. First catch her up to them and then level in BG's. Use the pally and druid to farm stonekeeper shards and buy stuff for her. Etc. Except there is kind of this debate between me and them. I think that my level 35 warrior would be just as useful in a bg to their Shaman, Lock team as the mage. I mean sure the mage has the AoE ice freeze and sheep and slow on -everything- icy she casts... but the warrior has charge/intercept/stun and an AoE fear and can remove fear/sap/incapacitate via zerker rage.

Payment(continued)

“Captain! You’d better come quick. Sky is about to start something huge.” The sergeant interrupted Mercenary Captain Lightblade’s charming rendition of the heroics performed by his company. The surrounding crowd of guests whispered among themselves surprised that he would allow such a brash interruption. But he simply smiled and excused himself. The diplomatic smile hid inner worry. Strangers who saw sky only saw his physique and thought that his fighting strength lay in swordsmanship. Ha! The man couldn’t out duel a fly. He as immensely strong, yes but had no clue how to use the blade he carried in melee combat. However, outside of a martial contest he was devastating. The man was simply the best war mage the captain had ever seen. That had been proven at the pass of Reijin. Sky alone had held the shield against at least twenty imperial mages. Their bombardments were casually ignored. At the same time he had reinforced the bridge the pass was known for; allowing more refuges t

Thoughts.

1) When writing stories I am more creative on paper. 2) Discussing your stories with people ends up being more frustrating then just writing the next bit. I've resolved to no longer ask fifteen people about a plot question.(p.s. if I asked you understand this wasn't just a one person thing) 3) U.S. vs [country name here] suddenly makes me very patriotic even about sports I couldn't care less about. Yay for silver in hockey! Too bad we didn't have more baskets and slap points and sliding tackles. 4) In my sunday wordpress vs blogger debate I ran into the fact that while I much much prefer the behind the blog design and layout of wordpress; for the visible part of the blog they give you 81 or some odd designs to pick from and if you don't like them... well sux2bu. Staying with blogger for now. 5) Ret pvp is more fun than protection pvp. 6) Battlegrounds are more fun when you are coordinated. Me and moon and khour ran battlegrounds saturday. In the same room, s

When everything is better....

Everything about wordpress is better so far as I can tell. I so badly want to move but am worried about the process and what it will do. Thoughts wanted. Still debating it but now much more focused on doing what I can here. Same song and dance as the last time I tried to change everything. More changes coming.
